THE FIRST 20 OF THE PERIODIC TABLE PROJECT

By Amada · · Posted as written

WHAT IS THE PERIODIC TABLE?

THE PERIODIC TABLE IS A TABLE THAT SHOWS ALL THE ELEMENTS AND WHAT ELEMENTS NUMBER THEY ARE.

WHY I CHOSE TO PRESENT THE PERIODIC TABLE:

BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS UNIQUE NO ONE WAS DOING AND BECAUSE I NEED TO REMEBER WHAT ELEMENTS WERE WHAT SO I DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING I FOUND DIFFICULT.

HOW I MADE IT:

FIRST OF ALL I NEEDED A BIG PIECE OF CARDBOARD TO MAKE THE BASE OF THE PROJECT. THEN I MIXED SOME DIFFERENT PAINTS EXPIEREMENTING WITH THE COLORS BUT NOT MIXING THEM FULLY TO MAKE A NICE EFFECT. THEN I MADE A SIGN OUT OF PAPER AND CARDBOARD, AND THEN I MADE A CUTE FRAME OUT OF CLAY AND BOWS.

ABOUT ART OF SCIENCE CLASS:

IN ART OF SCIENCE CLASS, OUR TEACHER IS MR SETH. WE MAKE DIFFERENT ROJECTS DEPENDING ON WHAT WE ARE LEARNING IN SIENCE CLASS. MY CLASS HAS MADE MANY PROJECTS INCLUDING A DIAGRAM OF A CELL, WATER CYCLE, SOLAR SYSTEM, VOLCANO, ROBAT AND HAVE DONE SOME EXPIERIMENT.

From us

A note from PRA

Art of Science is an afternoon class for our Lower and Upper Secondary students. They make art projects that go with what they are learning in Cambridge Science. Amada's class has made models of a cell, the water cycle, the solar system and a volcano.

The projects are English practice too. Students label their work and explain it in English, using the words from their science lessons. One of the water cycle models below has its clouds labelled condensation and precipitation, and Amada's post above explains her periodic table. We kept her words and spelling as she wrote them, and only tidied the spacing and punctuation.
